Alicia Keys Fights AIDS in Africa

Grammy Award-winner Alicia Keys visited a children¢s health project she helps to fund in Mombasa, Kenya on Wednesday. The R&B celebrity Alicia Keys visit the clinic at Coast Provincial Hospital, which benefits from the charity Keep A Child Alive, a U.S. Charity organization, which provides life-saving antiretroviral treatment to children and their families with HIV/AIDS. Thanks to Keep a Child Alive since 2004 where around 4,000 children get free treatment.

The journey doesn¢t stop here as Alicia Keys arrived in Uganda on Sunday, starting a four-day tour to support the fight against AIDS Africa. In Uganda, the organization funds Masaka Healthcare Center and Kairos Medical Center in Namuwongo, which provide adult and child AIDS treatment services to families living with HIV.

According to a statement from the Aids Healthcare Foundation in Kampala, Keys who is the ambassador of the Keep a Child Alive, will also visit the Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF) centre in Masaka district today.
